May the fourth be with you! Ha, that never gets old!
This week's top wine pick of the week is what we all should have when going to the lake. "Lake Side Breeze Demi-Sec" from Baroda Founders Wine Cellar is delight in a bottle, perfect for a picnic. A slightly sweet white wine with a rich pear and apricot nose, full-bodied taste and clean, crisp finish. This wine is part of their Lake Michigan Shore Series. Grown from one of the top grape growing regions in the world.
You can find this wine in select wine shops in your area. If they don't carry it, ask the person who procures wine to order it for you. Don't want to go out to the store? Then simply order your bottle from the Baroda Founders Wine Cellar website. At $15 for the "Lake Side Breeze Demi-Sec" it will not disappoint.
The main tasting room for this winery is right in the middle of downtown Baroda at 8963 Hills Road. If you find yourself in St. Joseph they have a tasting room on State St. If you are looking to go to the "Lake Michigan Shore Wine Festival" on June 16, they will have their wine there to sample. This year the festival will be at Warren Dunes State Park, just south of St. Joseph or due west from Baroda.
Let me know if you have tried this wine or like other wines from Baroda Founders Wine Cellar.
Until next time, Cheers!
